Searching Home
explores ideas of home through lace, and domestic objects. My life thus far has been very transient, never staying in the same location for more than a year. I have resorted to tearing domestic objects apart in an attempt to find the meaning of home. Lace plays a central role in a lot of my work. I am enamored by its ability to reveal more than is actually conceals, evoking ideas of sex, class, domesticity, and pattern.
