For Jane
is a 10' x 10' wall cut into lace exposing the interior construction. This work examines the idea of "home" using building material to think about social structure. For Jane has become my physical translation of the short story, The Yellow Wallpaper (Charlotte Perkins Gilman 1899) exploring pattern, repetition, hysteria, and compulsive searching.
